The C8K is TCL's QD-Mini-LED model from the year 2025 and has established itself as one of the best-selling devices in its class. 1680 dimming zones on the 65-inch model, four fully-fledged HDMI 2.1 ports and a price of around 1100 euros explain why hifi.de awarded it 9.1 out of 10 points. The measured 2689 nits in the 10% window of the filmmaker mode come from the 75-inch model.

Classification and Target Audience

The C8K is the sensible purchase for living rooms with normal to bright lighting, where the TV is used frequently and should not cost double. For film enthusiasts with a darkened room, an OLED remains the better choice.

Picture and Panel

2689 nits come from the 75-inch measurement. The 65-inch variant is somewhat lower with its 1680 zones. The value is sufficient for HDR highlights to stand out, the point at which cheaper Mini-LEDs fail. The VA panel offers high native contrast but loses color saturation when viewed from the side.

The C8K delivers the number of zones and brightness on par with devices in the 2000-euro class, making it the obvious choice for those who prefer to do without branded ecosystems without a price increase. Those who spend 300 euros more would receive more zones and better sound with the newer C8L.
