LG OLED C6

The C6 is LG's mid-range OLED for 2026 and does something unusual: It is brighter than its predecessor and still starts at 1300 Euros less. 1427 Nits in Filmmaker Mode, four full HDMI 2.1 ports with 165 Hz, and the third-generation Alpha 11 processor from the high-end class create a package that blurs the line between mid-range and flagship. The MSRP for 65 inches is 1899 Euros.

Classification and Target Audience

The C6 is recommended for anyone who sees no reason to spend double on a flagship. It covers movies, sports, console, and PC gaming equally well, and sits classically on a piece of furniture rather than on the wall. Only those who want to celebrate HDR in very bright rooms will find more headroom with the G6, S95H, and Z95B.

Picture and Panel

1427 Nits in Filmmaker Mode and around 1350 in the 10-percent HDR window mean noticeably more headroom than the C5 (1165 Nits). It still uses classic WOLED, not a tandem panel – however, the Alpha 11 AI Gen 3 processes the image, the same processor as in the twice-as-expensive G6. This is clearly noticeable in upscaling older content. Dolby Vision and Filmmaker Mode are included.

What’s Missing

LG does not support HDR10+ – Amazon content runs in HDR10. And despite all progress, the gap to the G6 in brightness remains large: 1427 versus 3004 Nits. In dark rooms, this hardly matters, but against window light, it does.

Conclusion and Price-Performance Ratio

1899 Euros MSRP for 65 inches, available from 42 to 83 inches (as of August 2026). Thus, the C6 is the device with the best ratio of price, picture, and equipment in this comparison. For those who do not sit in a sunlit room, this offers 90 percent of the flagship experience for half the money.
